Basket Pong Rules
Objective: Be the first team to eliminate all of the opposing team's buckets by successfully tossing balls into them.
Setup:
- Arrange 6 buckets per team in a triangular formation (3-2-1) on opposite sides of the play area.
- Fill each bucket with water or sand to stabilize them.
- Teams stand behind their set of buckets.
Gameplay:
- Turns: Teams alternate turns, with each player taking one shot per turn from behind their buckets.
- Sinking a Bucket: When a ball lands in a bucket, that bucket is removed from play.
- Winning the Game: The first team to eliminate all of the opposing team's buckets wins.
Redemption:
- After one team has eliminated all of the opposing team's buckets, the opposing team has a chance for redemption. Each player gets one shot to try to sink the remaining buckets. If they succeed in eliminating all remaining buckets, the game goes into overtime.
Overtime:
- In overtime, only 3 buckets per team are used, placed in a triangular formation.
- Teams alternate shots, and the first team to eliminate all 3 of the opposing team's buckets wins.
Additional Rules:
- Shooting Position: Players must shoot from behind their set of buckets.
- Ball Interference: Once a ball is thrown, defensive interference is not allowed.
- Re-Racking: Teams can agree to re-rack the buckets into specific formations during the game.
Enjoy the game and play responsibly!
